Glamour Magazine

I made a number of paper cut-outs (here are pictures of my favourite few) for this month's Glamour Magazine, to accompany an article about women in the workplace!

SHAPES!

I was commissioned by Brand Advocate to make 2 paper explosions for estate agent, Domus Nova's windows. They wanted me to use the brand colours as well as photographs of their properties. With a wonderful workforce behind me, we made 1000s (yes, 1000s) of cubes and geometric shapes out of coloured paper and photographs and hung them with fishing wire to a board. We only had an evening to install the 2 'explosions' so we prepared them in Brand Advocate's office and transported them to Domus Nova once they had been made. Inevitably there were some casualties in transit but after a few hours all shapes were in place and looked good! (one of the two windows is in the photo above). I need to get some pictures of them in the day time! Huge thanks to all those who came and helped me cut, score, glue and hang all those shapes!! - Sarah Jane, Laura, Lydia, Zena, Colleen, Laurie, Maricor and Maricar!!

YCN Awards Film

YCN kindly asked me to present an award at this years YCN Student Awards! The theme of the event was 'gameshows' so I made this short film with my friends 'Plastic Horse' which was played on the night... congratulations to Lee Hudson who won the Conveyor Belt Challenge!!

Boom!

Back in August, I made a set of 'booms' made up of 100s of cones for estate agent, Domus Nova's window in Notting Hill - here are some pictures of the finished things and the 'making of'. Commissioned by Brand Advocate and big thanks to Lou and Amy for their amazing help.
